- TM Hasegawa opened the meeting with American jokes in the Joke Master Session;
- TM Senda led the Table Topics Session;
- Four members gave prepared speeches:
- TM Yoshikawa compared the Amazon Kindle 2 and the forthcoming Apple iPad as book reading devices and as general computing devices, in his speech titled "Reading on Paper or the Web" (Project #7, CC Manual);
- TM Sakuragi delivered a very funny and entertaining speech on life in Tokyo, titled "Tokyo, an Unfriendly City" (Project #3, The Entertaining Speaker Advanced Manual);
- TM Perkins explained and demonstrated how to handle criticism non-defensively, in his speech titled "Bring on the Criticism" (Project #3, Advanced Manual);
- TM Maruyama delivered again his speech titled "Get to Know Them" (Project #3, Advanced Manual), to practice for the forthcoming Area Speech Contest;
- Constructive speech evaluations were given by the General Evaluator (TM Ofori) and four Evaluators (resp., TM Y. Inoue, TM Kumagai, TM Lenglet, and TM Wada).
- Best Performance: TM Tateishi (Toastmaster of the Day)
- Best Table Topics Speaker: TM Asano
- Best Prepared Speaker: TM Perkins
- Best Evaluator: TM Y. Inoue (evaluating TM Yoshikawa) and TM Kumagai (evaluating TM Sakuragi) (it was a draw!)
