- accord (v.) (and also accordance (n.)): (1) to grant, (2) to be in harmony, agree
- We held a speaker coaching session, an extra educational session before the regular meeting to coach some members and help them give impromptu speeches;
- Two new members joined the club: welcome TM Friah and TM Kondo!
- TM Inagaki opened the meeting with an excellent impromptu Joke Session;
- TM Perkins led the Table Topics Session;
- Four members gave prepared speeches:
- TM Katsushika introduced herself in her first speech, titled "Unyielding" (Project #1, CC Manual);
- TM Tomoda, who also joined recently, introduced himself in his speech "Road to TMC" (Project #1, CC Manual);
- TM Asano gave useful advice to handle conference calls with native English speakers, based on stories from his work experience, in his speech "Conference Call" (Project #9, CC Manual);
- TM Tateishi told us the story of Osamu Tezuka, the famous creator of the "Astro Boy" comics and many other comics, in her speech "The Father of Manga" (Project #5, Storytelling Manual);
- Constructive speech evaluations were given by the General Evaluator (TM Yoshikawa) and four Evaluators (resp., TM Horioka, TM Sakuragi, TM Komura, and TM Wada).
